Early Spring Migrants

We’ll search the Kankakee area for early warblers like Louisiana Waterthrush and Yellow-throated Warbler, then shorebirds – both yellowlegs, Pectoral Sandpipers, and American Golden-Plovers, and finally Smith’s Longspur. Locations will include Kankakee River State Park, Perry Farm Park, and Willowhaven Park & Nature Center.
